Disneyland!!

So I'm a little behind on blogging- I don't know what my problem is ...... I have tons to catch up on though- so we'll start with Disneyland! We went the first week of October, and had so much fun! I have never been there during a holiday, but highly recommend it! It was decorated so cute for Halloween and fall. My kids are all about Halloween (I wonder where they get it from), which was one of the reasons I wanted to go in October. The characters were all dressed in their costumes which was so fun. The Haunted House is completely redecorated in The Nightmare Before Christmas (which is one of Mason's favorite movies)- we had to do that one a few times!
Mason also loved Pirates of the Caribbean (did that one quite a few times too!), Splash Mountain and Tower of Terror- He's so brave! Maya's favorite things were the Peter Pan ride, and seeing the princesses! She also loved all the characters. I was nervous she would be scared of them, but she would get so excited to see them-especially Minnie! The first day we got there early, and Minnie does this breakfast thing on Main street which we did not go to, but when we walked in, Maya immediately spotted Minnie and started screaming "Mimi","Mimi". Minnie comes over to the fence and Maya gives her a big fat kiss on the nose! Priceless! I knew our trip was worth it right then! Of course I didn't have my camera ready and this was all I got.....

Mason wasn't as excited to see the characters. He was a little more nervous about them- but he warmed up and did great! Tyler's highlight of the trip was meeting this guy...

Nestor Carbonell from Lost. Tyler spotted him immediately in line for Dumbo, and was like "I know that guy!" I was thinking it was one of his friends from Boise. I honestly didn't recognize him and was like don't bother him- he's with his kids! Tyler went and asked if he could get a picture and chatted with him for a few minutes and said he was really nice. I just took the picture- I didn't want to be annoying!

My favorite part was seeing Maya with the princesses! She was so excited to see them and would just run up and give them big hugs! It is all princesses at our house now. Since the trip- she knows all of their names, (No White, Princess Aw{Aurora}, Belle, Mamamermaid, Ella, Jasmine, and Mulan) and wherever we go she can spot anything princess! I was happy my parents got to go with us-
It was nice to have them there to help and see the kids excitement! The down sides were that it was freakishly hot, and we drove- which was not fun with a two year old......But definitely worth it!!!

We had such a good time, and I want to go back while my kids are still little!

Hey it's good to have you back. We went to Disneyland in April and I agree- it was awesome. It was "magical" for my kids. Quincy favorite part was the princesses. We stood in that line for at least two hours. Good thing there was 2 adults- we traded off. Glad you had fun.

P.S. How many costumes can Minney & Mickey wear in a day or two?!

It has tons of cute harvest gifts ideas for offices if you guys do a harvest gift. I swear the offices around here do WAY cuter gift ideas than in Boise!
