I forgot to post about my car! Last week Driving home at night-a dog ran in front of my car! I tried to stop and when I did, I still hit the dog. It was a pretty big dog. It ran off and I followed it for like a mile (it was a busy road) and it kept running and I thought maybe it was running home-I'm not sure what happened to it, but I felt bad..I've never hit anything before. I didn't even think anything happened to my car-I thought it hit the tire, but here's the surprise I had when I got home!
Anyway..... I've been taking this awesome parenting class (called Positive Parenting) by Carleen Tanner. (She teaches at things like education week.) This week she talked about traditions, She has tons of ideas for every holiday and birthdays. A tradition that I thought would be good to start is a conference party! You have fun food or treats you might not normally have and decorate with fun things. Then your kids can earn CTR bucks if they're good, and earn prizes. So I put together a notebook for Mason and it has lots of activities related to conference. There are pictures of each of the twelve, and first presidency. (and a sheet of paper behind it to take notes:). Hopefully he can start putting names with faces! He's only four so I don't expect him to to be taking notes!, However if we make this a tradition, then he'll expect it each year! You have to make it fun somehow to keep their attention! That's an awesomeidea, dude! I love the idea of earning CTR bucks if they're good and making it a party! I also like the idea of having a picture of all the twelve so they can recognize the speakers and put names with faces...man, you're a freakin brainiac. I can't believe that happened to your car!!! That must have been one HUGE dog--poor little guy. And geez, I know you don't like dogs, but goodness you don't have to hit them with your car Angie...Just Kidding! You heart dogs and wouldn't do it on purpose!.

K- the dog really is okay, you know that right. who cares that it must of been some steriod dog that put his shoulder into the car and than ran like the wind. Honestly, its good, telling all its friends how it took on a car.
man, roper girls really have it going on. you guys are super freakin' on the ball. cute idea! and shelly tells me you're coming into town soon! i'll have to stalk and meet the 3rd roper girl. also, kristi and i were saying that you should bring lots o' bows to sell and we'll have a big ol' bow party. do it! i NEED some!!!

I love that Natalie knows our maiden name and uses it...that's funny.
Also--so glad that dog is ok!
